Our Mission:
Working with local agencies and
organizations, the Emergency Services Unit coordinates the
preparedness, response and recovery activities to mitigate the
effects of major emergencies and disasters that threaten the lives,
property and the environment of the community.
Emergency Services Unit
The City
has a comprehensive Emergency Management Program
which includes
the elements necessary to respond quickly and
effectively to all types
of emergencies and disasters. To achieve this goal of preparedness
we have developed and provide ongoing training and educational programs
to city personnel and the citizens of Fontana.
We also offer disaster
preparedness presentations to requesting groups or businesses within our
community. We tailor or presentation to meet your group's needs.
To schedule a presentation, please call Laura Wolbert at (909) 350-7756.
