NASCAR Sprint Cup Race at Auto Club Speedway

The Fontana Police Department Traffic Division has developed a list of potential "problem areas" in order to alert the public ahead of time in order to assist them in avoiding major traffic delays.

Closures

• Arrow Boulevard at Cherry Avenue

• Whittram Avenue at Cherry Avenue

• Randall Avenue at Cherry Avenue

• Southbound Cherry Avenue between Foothill Boulevard and the Speedway

Extreme Congestion Areas

• Cherry Avenue between Baseline Road and Jurupa Avenue

• Foothill Boulevard between Cherry Avenue and the 15 freeway

• Baseline Avenue between Cherry Avenue and the 15 freeway

Traffic Tips

• When traveling east/west use the 210 freeway and avoid the Citrus and Cherry Avenue exits

• Race traffic will be directed southbound Cherry Avenue to Jurupa Avenue and onto either the 15 or 60 Freeways and northbound Cherry Avenue to the 210 or westbound Baseline Avenue to the 15 freeway. Please avoid these areas.

• Please avoid all streets from Foothill Boulevard to Slover Avenue, on and around Cherry Avenue

• Residents of the Village of Heritage area, avoid exiting onto Cherry and Foothill and use East Avenue or Baseline Avenue.
